WaterNet Alumni Refresher Course: Introduction to open source QGIS for Geospatial and Earth Observation

The WaterNet Alumni Association (WAA) with support from WaterNet, the University of Twente – Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation and the University of Botswana and ESA’s TIGER Capacity Building Facility will be conducting a 5-day course for WaterNet Alumni and other interested persons. The event will be held from 20 to 25 October 2016 in Gaborone, Botswana. The main objective of the course is to introduce QGIS, a free and open source application for Geospatial and Earth Observation. The course will also touch upon a few methods and tools for Geospatial analyses for IWRM.
