TIGER 2016 Workshop Presentations

The TIGER workshop 2016 was held in Addis Ababa hosted by UNECA with 100 participants from 19 African and 10 European countries.
Attending water experts and stakeholders represented 8 African trans-boundary river basin authorities, 10 national water authorities, 9 intergovernmental organisations and 31 R&D institutions.
The event showed the unique opportunity of the TIGER initiative to bring together a truly continental African community on the water topic essential for Africa and beyond. Recommendations voiced from the TIGER community and international partners during the final round table will serve as basis for the next TIGER implementation plan.
