TIGER at the 6th World Water Forum

Satellite Earth observation was recognized as an indispensable tool for monitoring water resources at the recent World Water Forum. ESA.s TIGER initiative is supporting Africa to monitor their water assets by exploiting satellite data. TIGER was represented at the WWF6 with an ESA stand and two side events:

• Side event 1: Launch of Tiger-Net: Satellite Observations Support Integrated Water Resources Management in Africa (13 March 2012, from 13:15 to 14:15)

• Side event 2: Water Management in Africa With Earth Observation: Tiger Capacity Building Facility (14 March 2012, from 19:15 to 20:15)
